Wednesday, 7th October 2026

8.15 a.m.: Departure from the hotes in Katowice to the meeting venue (Museum Mysłowice)
(Meeting point at the hotel entrance, then walk to the waiting buses, approximately 350 m away)

9:00 am – 2.00 p.m.: 29th CTIF Commission meeting, followed by return journey to the hotels

4.45 p.m.: Departure from the hotels in Katowice to the opening evening (in uniform) in Mysłowice
(Meeting point at the hotel entrance, then walk to the waiting buses, approximately 350 m away)

5.10 p.m.:Traditional group photo of CTIF conference participants in Hall No. 2 at the Central Museum of Firefighting.

5.30 p.m.: Opening of the special exhibition & group photo

7.30 p.m.: Opening ceremony with dinner

10.00 p.m.: Transportation from Hotel Trojak in Mysłowice to hotels in Katowice

 

 

Thursday, 8th October 2026

8:15 am: Departure from the hotel in Katowice to the conference venue (Museum Mysłowice)
(Meeting point at the hotel entrance, then walk to the waiting buses, approximately 350 m away)

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: 33rd meeting of the study group, followed by return journey to the hotels

6:00 p.m.: Dinner together in the hotel (buffet) – if booked

Partner program (Pszczyna) – if booked

9:00 a.m.: Departure from the hotel in Katowice to the Pszczyna

10:00 a.m.: Visiting the Castle Museum in Pszczyna

1:00 p.m.: Lunch at a restaurant on the market square in Pszczyna

2:00-3:30 p.m.: A walk through the old town of Pszczyna

4:00 p.m.: Return journey to the hotel in Katowice

Friday, 9th October 2026

all day: Excursion to Krakow
Please bring your conference badges! We will need them when visiting the Wawel Royal Castle.

8.30 a.m.: Departure from the hotel in Katowice to the Fire Service Museum in Alwernia
(Meeting point at the hotel entrance, then walk to the waiting buses, approximately 350 m away)

9.45-10:35 a.m.: Visiting the Fire Service Museum in Alwernia

10:40 a.m.: Departure to Kraków

11:40 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Visiting the Fire Service Academy in Kraków

12:30 p.m.-1:20 p.m.: Lunch in the Fire Service Academy in Kraków

1:30 p.m.: Departure to Wawel Royal Castle

3:00-5:00 p.m.: Visiting the Wawel Royal Castle
(Division into two groups of approx. 50 people each. Tour of the Royal Treasury and Royal Chambers – sightseeing without a guide)

5:25-5:45 p.m.: Return to the Market Square

5:45-6:45 p.m.: Free Time (1 hour)

6:45-7:00 p.m.: Gathering and returning to the buses

7:00 p.m.: Return journey to the hotels in Katowice

8:00 p.m.: Dinner together in the hotel
